Teresa Pasillas
Partner, Managing Director, Legal & Compliance
Teresa Pasillas serves as Managing Director, Legal & Compliance at McMorgan & Company, where she supports the firm’s Legal and Compliance Department in implementing comprehensive policies and procedures. A 19-year veteran of McMorgan, Teresa joined the firm in 2006. She also serves as a member of McMorgan’s Investment Committee.
In her operational leadership role, Teresa serves as the critical liaison between McMorgan’s investment partner sub-advisors and client administrators, custodians, and consultants. She manages many aspects of sub-advisor asset transitions, ensuring seamless implementation while maintaining strict compliance standards. Teresa also maintains all investment management agreements and investment guidelines for McMorgan’s clients, providing essential oversight of the legal frameworks that govern the firm’s fiduciary relationships.
Teresa holds a BS in Criminal Justice Administration from California State University, East Bay (formerly Hayward). She is based in San Francisco.
