Joseph Barilotti, Sr.
Vice President of Institutional Sales
Joe Barilotti serves as Vice President of Institutional Sales at McMorgan & Company, bringing more than four decades of leadership in the union construction industry and over 30 years of service as a trustee and board member. He joined McMorgan in 2015 and is based in Philadelphia, supporting Taft-Hartley and institutional investors.
Prior to McMorgan, Joe spent 25 years as Executive Director of the Mason Contractors Association of Philadelphia and Vicinity, where he advanced the interests of union contractors and their members. He also served as a trustee and co-chairman of several major pension and health funds, including 23 years with the Bricklayers Pension and Health Funds, 20 years with the Laborers District Council Pension and Health Funds of Philadelphia and Vicinity, and 15 years with the Mid-Atlantic Laborers & Employers Cooperation Trust (LECET).
In addition, Joe was Vice President of Sales for a regional real estate investment trust for seven years and served on the Board of Directors of Independence Blue Cross for two decades. Earlier in his career, Joe worked as a union bricklayer for 15 years, giving him firsthand knowledge of the trades that he went on to represent and support through his executive and trustee leadership.
