McMorgan & Company Appoints Thiago Silva as Senior Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure
San Francisco, California, May 26, 2026 – McMorgan & Company (“McMorgan”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Thiago Silva as Senior Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure. In this role, Silva will lead the firm’s infrastructure investment platform, with responsibility for investment strategy, capital formation, and strategic partnerships.
Silva joins McMorgan with over 20 years of experience in infrastructure, private equity, and real assets, bringing deep expertise across direct investments, co-investments, and institutional partnerships.

Prior to joining McMorgan, Silva was Managing Director and Co-Head of Infrastructure at IG4 Capital. Prior to IG4, he spent more than a decade at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, where he was a senior member of the global infrastructure team. During his tenure, Silva led investments and partnerships across Europe and the Americas, working alongside leading global sponsors and institutional investors to deploy capital across core infrastructure sectors. He also served on the boards of several portfolio companies, guiding strategic initiatives, capital allocation decisions, and operational performance.
Earlier in his career, Silva was part of the investment team at Brookfield Asset Management, where he focused on global infrastructure and private equity transactions. He contributed to the development of Brookfield Infrastructure Partners and supported a range of large-scale investments alongside global institutional partners.
